FAQS

WHAT TIMES ARE THE JUMPS?

From May to October we plan jumps from Sunrise to Sunset. If you have any questions just call us at 250 792-0532, or drop us an email at: [email protected] Allow about 1 to 2 hours for the whole experience.

WHAT WEATHER CONDITIONS DO WE JUMP IN?

Skydiving is very weather dependant. We would not be operating in strong winds or rainy conditions. However, always call us to confirm if you are worried about the weather, as it can be very different between the East and West Coast of the Island.

WHAT IS THE MOST POPULAR HEIGHT TO JUMP FROM?

The most popular height is 10,000ft above ground level, with views of the East & West Coasts, including the Cascade Range and Olympic Mountains . From 10,000ft you will have 50 seconds of freefall at 200 kph (120 mph).

WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept Cash, Interac, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

HOW DO I GET TO POINT BREAK SKYDIVING?

Point Break is located at the Long Beach Golf Course and is a 70 minute drive West of Port Alberni and 4 hours North of Victoria BC. Our airstrip is only 10 minute's drive from the village of Tofino, 15 minutes from Ucluelet. If you don’t have your own transport, let us know when you make your booking as we can arrange complimentary pick up and drop off from the Long Beach area.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Wear reasonably warm clothing and sturdy shoes. We will provide jumpsuits, gloves, goggles (glasses or contact lenses are not a problem) and helmets.

WILL I SEE WHALES?

Most likely. Long Beach has some of the most spectacular whale watching in Canada. As the migration of these majestic Mammals move up the coast, often times we find these animals right below us. It is a sight of such grandeur that it must be seen to be believed. Our flight to altitude will take you over Pacific Rim National Park and the rainforest and inlets of Clayoquot Sound. This is why we know we have the most spectacular skydiving experience around.

IS THERE A WEIGHT LIMIT?

We can accommodate up to 100 kgs depending on physical condition, anyone over 100kg will need to be assessed in person by one of our senior staff just to be on the safe side. Please let us know if you have any medical conditions – most will not stop you skydiving, but your safety is our primary concern and we can advise you if you have any concerns. BTW we do not charge any extra for those over 100 kg.

CAN I TAKE MY OWN CAMERA ON THE JUMP?

Unfortunately, due to safety regulations, you are not able to take your own camera on the jump, however we do offer very affordable photo and video packages (which come on a complimentary USB drive) to remember this life changing event……leave it up to the professionals!
